He is a recognized figure in the digital marketing arena, known for his role as the founder of Green Apple Media Solutions, a successful digital marketing company , India and a driving force behind a leading career guidance portal in India-Guide Me Career.
Gursharan Singh Athwal, professionally known as GS Athwal, is an entrepreneur and business leader. With a career spanning several years, GS Athwal has made significant contributions to the education industry and digital marketing. GS Athwal commenced his professional journey in the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector and later served as a sales executive at Just Dial from October 2012 to August 2013. However, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he transitioned to explore his passion for the education industry, particularly in search engine optimization. In 2015, GS Athwal assumed the role of CEO at Green Apple Media Solutions (GApple Solutions), headquartered in Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar, Punjab, with a branch office in Mohali, Chandigarh & Noida. Under his leadership, the company has become a prominent player in the digital marketing industry, offering services such as website design, development, SEO, and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
GS Athwal contributed to several government projects, including the Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA), Chandigarh, focusing on strategic planning and awareness campaign management promoting green energy, and green revolution practices at home from June 2020 until June 2022. The project also included the video planning & creation for awareness on tackling stubble burning as well as for the Haibowal Biomethanation Project, located in Haibowal, Ludhiana by PEDA. Starting in October 2021 until June 2022, GS Athwal has also worked on handling the RTI awareness campaigns for the Right to Information Act, 2005 for 6 months. The campaign included the creation of radio spots or radio advertisements.
